the challenge

Despite being the premium oil paint brand and a familiar sight on shelves around the world, Rembrandt’s identity and rich history was diluted by generic category tropes.

the inspiration

Rembrandt is all about authentic craftsmanship. It’s the heartbeat. To embrace a quest for excellence and the irrepressible ambition to produce and achieve the highest standards in artist colours. We wanted to artists to see and feel its soul shine through everything.

the idea

What we do must be an ode, a hymn, a celebration of Authentic Craftsmanship in accordance with the tradition of the old Dutch Masters so you as a professional artist you can ‘Master your Inspiration’.

The revitalised Rembrandt was launched at Creativeworld in Frankfurt. More news to come.
