Podium Cadeaukaart approached us to develop a new brand name and identity for a new gift card. With the goal to attract new investors, new partners and expand its customer base by launching a new not-for-profit gift card serving the collective promotion of culture throughout the Netherlands.
The purpose of the new gift card is not only to serve collective promotion of culture. It’s more than offering friends or family a great experience by attending a concert, film or exposition. You can also participate, for example by taking painting workshops, language lessons or dance drills. Topping it off with a drink in the theatre or an extensive dinner. A complete cultural outing with a great purpose.
To signal its purpose, we chose a descriptive brand name that carries the proposition. A face that must be able to adapt to changing programs at all times. A face that must offer space to providers (culture houses, theatres, etc.) within communication. The new brand identity must be distinctive within the category. The identity must radiate energy and connection. A dynamic identity in motion, a flowing logo that culturally connects.
