Senior Account Manager Amsterdam

The role involves working closely with the Client Service Director, taking the lead in managing commercial projects and building upon client relationships. You will work in collaboration with the creative team, production, designers and, when needed, with our colleagues in London. You will be required to take a holistic overview on campaign and account management including, idea generation, scoping out costs and timelines, liaising and working with 3rd party suppliers and managing creative and production. Our customers vary from smaller entrepreneurial companies to leading Dutch and international brands. An interesting mixture of creative work, campaign management and performance marketing.

1. Account Management- Responsibility for project and client output. Work collaboratively with internal and external contact points including project managers, designers, agency partners.
2. Take responsibility for scheduling and managing internal workloads within various departments.
3. Take ownership for the delivery of effective campaigns across various channels on tight deadlines and within budget.
4. Effectively communicate deliverables throughout the agency and collate cohesive campaigns.
5. Client Management- Confidently lead meetings, give presentations and report on success of integrated projects.
6. Building and managing relationships with clients, partners and agency representatives as necessary.
7. Business Development- Grow and develop existing accounts by seeking new business opportunities.
8. Be part of pitch teams where applicable.
9. Organisation- Discuss and realise a clear input from customers in terms of deliveries expected, planning expected and debrief to customers after aligning with creative, creative execution and/or performance marketing team.
10. Transfer customer needs in well aligned internal planning (planning tool Monday and/or excel).
11. Send out offers and manage follow up with the use of our CRM system.
12. Financial and analytical reporting- Support team with financial responsibilities such as budgeting and reconciliations.
13. Collate multiple data sources to give assessment of campaign delivery and actionable insights.
14. Proficiently utilise analytical programmes and party insight tools (e.g. Tractioni Next, Synthesio, GA and social reports).

– Must be fluent in Dutch
– Ability to manage a campaign from brief, to brainstorm, through to post campaign analysis including management of timelines and budgets. Knowledge of KPIs, ability to set them correctly, monitor and analyse.
– Strong and professional communication skills in a down to earth way (both written and verbal) and people skills (comfortable speaking with internal and external stakeholders)
– You know how to stand your ground and thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment.
– Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work across multiple campaigns at once
– Ability to deliver a presentation/proposal clearly and passionately to influence stakeholders
– Keen eye for detail and able to clearly articulate high level feedback
– Good command of the English language
– Digital marketing and social media makes your heart beat
– Minimum 3 years of experience in customer support or project management.
– Client focused and be able to understand what the client needs are.

– Experience in a digital marketing agency.
– Language skills in German, French or Italian will be an advantage (in addition to Dutch and English)
– Strong project management skills

Although degrees don’t make good commercial people a certain level of (self) education is required
